Lillie Loves to Read

This is the kind of story I usually love, a dystopian society with characters who start off believing one thing and end up having their eyes opened. Unfortunately, this author has a way with words that made me cringe and wish it was a shorter story, way shorter. I hated his prose, hated the characters. I didn't care what happened to Lenny or Eunice from the first chapter to the last. Only reason I stuck it out was for a goodreads book club challenge. There was only one other book that I've read this year that I hated even more.
