Reader of all kinds of books but favorites genres include mystery, sic-fi, romance, thrillers, YA, fantasy, general fiction, memoirs. I'll try anything once.
This is the second book that I’ve read by Murakami and it won’t be the last. His writing makes me feel as though I’m walking around in a Salvador Dali painting, very surreal. Or maybe it’s more like I’m under water. Don’t think another writer has ever evoked such feelings. Whatever it is, I’m definitely going to read his other books. Highly recommend it for people who enjoy being taken out of reality.
Final verdict: Murakami is a kick-ass writer
