Raven Black by Ann Cleeves
Did not like the mystery whatsoever. Wanted to put it down but I was interested in where the author was taking me. Unfortunately, it was somewhere I didn't want to go.
Final verdict: Not sure I'll pick up the next one in the series (update: though I haven't picked up another one in this series, I have read another of her series and loved it).
