The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith (aka J.K. Rowling)
Enjoyed it immensely. The mystery kept me going (though several chapters before the end I guessed the correct murderer). And for those who know this about me, I did not skim the ending before reading the rest of the book.
Looking forward to the next in the series.
