Light Boxes by Shane Jones
This was one of the strangest books I have ever read. Not even sure how to describe the plot other than Winter is character that has decided to stay, never allowing the other seasons to come. The people are perpetually stuck in February. They try for a long time to find a way out of the season. There's death all around.
Even the physical aspects of the book are a part of the story. The use of different fonts and font sizes are creative, with the pages looking like art work.
I like to read books that are different but, for the most part, I could not wrap my head around what was written.
